I connect an Ethernet cable on PC-A to port 4 on S1 Nsangou 2. I connect an ethernet cable on PC-B to port 6 on S1 3. I connect an ethernet cable on PC-C to port 11 on S1 4. I connect an ethernet cable on PC-D to port 13 on S1 5. I connect an ethernet cable on R1 to port 1 on S1 2.2. Configure the basic switch functions 1. I use enable to enter Privileged EXEC mode 2. I use conf t to enter global configuration mode. 3. I use enable secret cisco to set the secret password. 4. Next, I use line con 0 to enter that interface. 5. I use password cisco to set the password to cisco. 6. Next, I use line vty 0 15 to enter that interface 7. I use cisco to set the password to cisco for line vty 0 15 8. I use exit to go back to configure terminal. I use banner motd “Unauthorized access is strictly prohibited.” to set the MOTD. 9. I use line con 0 to enter that console line. Then, I use logging synchronous to turn on synchronous logging. 2.3 Configure the computers 1. I add an Ip address of 192.168.10.3with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 and gateway of 192.168.10.1 to PC-A 2. I add an Ip address of 192.168.20.4a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 and gateway of 192.168.20.1 to PC-B 3. I add an Ip address of 192.168.30.5 with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 and gateway of 192.168.30.1 to PC-C Nsangou 4. I add an Ip address of 192.168.40.6with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 and gateway of 192.168.40.1 to PC-D
