Current Scope for the ILS Warehouse Expansion
Reduce accidents while transporting inventory
In order to lower costs, and be seen as a reputable company that can transport goods to
Walmart, we need to reduce the number of accidents while transporting inventory. There have
been on average 2 accident per month by different drivers. This is unacceptable and mostly due
to distracted driving.
To accomplish this, we will pull the DMV Driver record and ensure that there are no
visible red flags. Anyone with 3 or more points on their record, (from infractions or accidents)
will be put on a 6 month probation. Should another infraction or accident occur within that time
period, the employee will be terminated at that time.
Acceptance Criteria.
Drivers will be required to sign a new driving form. This form will include the
acceptance the above prescribed probation. The drivers will also be required to take a mandatory
driver training refresher course. (This will be provided by ILS). Those refusing to sign the form
or take the mandatory training will be terminated immediately.
Measurement
There must be a reduction of accidents. The acceptable monthly average will be .5
accidents per month over the first year. Year two and moving forward acceptable accident
