, Inleiding
Wij zijn …….,…….. en ….. en wij studeren aan ons tweede jaar van de Bachelor Social Work aan de
Hogeschool van Amsterdam. Voor het vak Sociale Agenda brengen wij maatschappelijke
vraagstukken in kaart binnen het thema sociale inclusie. Onze interesse is uitgegaan naar mensen
met overgewicht en hoe zij behandelt worden in de maatschappij. Eén van ons heeft contact met de
organisatie Humanitas, deze organisatie ondersteunt jongeren in het bewust worden van hun
gezondheid en overgewicht. Zij kunnen ons op weg helpen met dit onderzoek en onze uitkomsten
zijn wellicht interessant voor hen. De uitkomsten kan de organisatie gebruiken als input voor hun
projecten.
Daarnaast hebben wij zelf contacten in onze omgeving die kampen met dit probleem of hier ervaring
mee hebben. Voor u ligt de themaverkenning en de onderzoeksopzet, waarin de volgende
vraagstelling wordt onderzocht ‘’ Hoe worden jongeren met overgewicht in de leeftijdscategorie van
8 t/m 16 jaar uit de regio Noord – Holland behandelt in de maatschappij? ‘’.
Leeswijzer
In dit verslag komen diverse onderwerpen naar voren, waarbij u zich een beter beeld kunt schetsen
bij onze vraagstelling. In hoofdstuk 1 komt de themaverkenning naar voren over het onderwerp.
Hoofdstuk 2 licht de doel – en vraagstelling duidelijk toe. Daarna komt hoofdstuk 3 aan bod waarin
de onderzoeksopzet naar voren komt, hierin verantwoorden wij duidelijk onze motivatie. Als laatste
komen de bijlagen naar voren waarin de samenwerkingsovereenkomst te zien is en de
interviewleidraad.
