ASSESSMENT
Screening - ANSWER-Process by which a client is determined appropriate and
eligible for admission to a particular program.
Screening eligibility - ANSWER-Focus, target population, funding requirements
of the counselors program or agency.
Criteria is easy to ascertain and may include what? - ANSWER-Client's age, sex,
place of residence, legal status, veteran status, income level, and referral source.
Screening form - ANSWER-Patient data (age, sex, residence) referral source,
presenting problems, insurance availability, whether to accept into the program
or refer elsewhere.
Intake - ANSWER-Administrative and initial procedures for admission to a
program.
Much of an intake is doing what? - ANSWER-Competing various forms.
What does doing an intake entail? - ANSWER-Filling out admission or intake
forms, document initial assessment, complete all appropriate ROI's, collect
financial data, sign consent for TX, and assign primary counselor.
