Industrial organisation presents numerous lessons towards industrial economics to develop the understanding of corporate decision making. In this document I discuss price setting, output setting, investment in productive capacity, advertising and collusive behaviour with particular insights into game theory. The role of industrial competition is discussed extensively and the determinants of market structure and the imperatives for competition policy are also basis for much conversation.
