This article consists of a briefing paper a report and a report and. The title of this document is the
development of students understanding of the influence of culture, politics and power on the
behavior of employees in an organization. Task one briefs of how Vivo Energy’s culture, power
and politics influences individual and team behavior and their performance. It critically evaluates
the relationship between culture, politics, power and motivation that enables teams at Vivo
Energy ltd to succeed provided with justifies recommendation on it. Task one also evaluates how
content and process theory of motivation and motivational techniques enable effective
achievement of goals in Vivo Energy. It critically evaluates how to influence the behavior of
employees in Vivo Energy through effective application of behavioral motivation theories,
concepts and models.
Task two of this article is a report to which explains what makes an effective team as opposed to
an ineffective team at Vivo Energy. In addition, analyzing relevant team and group development
theories to support the development of dynamic cooperation in Vivo Energy. The concepts and
philosophies of organizational behaviour at Vivo Energy is briefed. Also evaluation of how
concepts and philosophies of organizational behaviour influence both positive and negative
behaviour at Vivo Energy is evaluated. Lastly in task two, evaluation of the team development
theories in context of organizational behaviour concepts and philosophies that influence
behaviour in the work place at Vivo Energy is evaluated.
