DEMENTIA.
By Beth Phillips.
, What is
dementia?
Dementia is an overall term for
many different sub-types of
dementia. Every disorder that is
associated with the term
dementia is a disorder caused
by abnormal brain changes.
These abnormal brain changes
lead to a decline in cognitive
function which can impair their
ability to complete everyday
tasks. It can also make them
less independent and can affect
their relationships, feelings and
behaviors.
