Abstract
The provided papers aim to analyse the case of a patient named Terri, who visited her
PCP after experiencing an episode of seizure. To adequately diagnose the patient, the
physician requested laboratory tests that indicated that the patient is currently suffering from
pernicious anemia. Her blood results indicated low levels of both haematocrit and vitamin
B12 together with the presence of the autoantibodies, which aim to destruct the parietal cells.
An analysis of the condition and possible causes of the symptomatology will be reflected in
the upcoming pages.
