Starter:
After 6 years working in various residential settings, Sandra set up her own small, private adult residential
provision. After getting a new investment, Sandra has now been able to expand her premises, she can now
accommodate for six more permanent residents. However, due to this increase in residents Sandra must hire 2
more employees, meaning she would now have 6 full-time employees working for her in total.
1a) Identify the legislation that Sandra must now consider to ensure she is lawfully protecting her employees.

→ All staff must wear a lanyard this will allow Sandra and her employees to clearly identify if there is an
