,LILIAN’S LAW
 This is a campaign to change the drug driving laws.
 Was made after a 14 year old girl was killed by a speed car and and drive
was under the influence of cannibis.
 It was dedicated to bringing in police roadside drug testing.
 They also wanted tougher sentences given to those who are caught.
 The driving force behind the campaign was Lilian’s family. They began by
starting a petition.
 It was a national campaign.
 The local MP had brouhg the issue of drug driving into parliament to help.
 The campaign was successful as drug testing was introduced. Drugs
testing kits were created which can identify cocaine, cannabit, opiates,
amphetamines and methamphetamines.

 Is a movement against sexual abuse, sexual harrasssment and rape culture.
 It aims to empower those who have experienced sexual abuse and to improve
awareness.
 The driving force was Tarana Burke who was a victim of sexual assault and she
used the phrase ‘#MeToo’.
 It went viral due to the exposure of numerous sexual abuse allegation against t
film producer Harvey Weinstein in 2017.
 This was an international campaign widespread through media coverage.
 It was supported by many known celebrities including Gwenyth Paltrow and
Jennifer Lawrence.
 It was successful by proving how big the issue of sexual violence actually is. It
showed that 54% of women in America report receiving ‘unwanted and
inappropriate’ sexual advances, with 95% of these women saying it goes
unpunished. People had also began reporting past incidents.
