Waterval & agile methode
Waterval-methode: Eens iets doorgegeven wordt, kan het niet terugkeren. Dus het nadeel hieraan is
dat eens iets ‘onderwater’ zit, het niet meer boven komt. Klant krijgt enkel eindproduct.
Agile-methode:
• iteratief: Bv. Project 12 maanden, dit ga je opsplitsen in dan bv 12 iteraties van elk één
maand. (meestal duren iteraties tussen de 2 & 6 weken). Na elke iteraties wordt er een
stukje werkende software afgeleverd, dit kan men dan ook aan de klant al eens tonen, zodat
hij kritiek kan geven. Per iteratie doorloop je ook zelfde fases van het software-
ontwikkelingsproces.
• Incrementeel: Men werkt steeds verder op de vorige iteratie i.p.v. elke iteratie apart en op
het einde alles samen te voegen, wat dan het risico op fouten verhoogt bij het elkaar hangen
van de verschillende iteraties.
