Summary Overall Overview of Power and Conflict Poetry with detailed links between poems and Themes
A detailed overview of what is entailed in GCSE AQA power and conflict english literature poetry. In these notes almost all the assessment objectives are used. In addition the key 8 poems needed for all themes is featured showing how each poem relates to another and which theme they share, this makes each of the poems comparable. An in-depth analysis of how the poems relate to the 4 umbrella themes of History, Culture, Identity and Nature is also available in these notes with an additional brief analysis of 'Ozymandias' by Percy Bysshe Shelly and 'Bayonet Charge' by Ted Hughs.
