Character Map: Compeyson
Compeyson is one of the main antagonists of Great Expectations. His criminal
activities harmed both Miss Havisham and Magwitch, who in turn shaped much of
Pip’s life. Compeyson abandoned Miss Havisham at the altar, and later got Abel
Magwitch arrested.

Out of all the characters, Bentley Drummle is one of the easiest to hate. He is a
spoiled rich kid who treats the people around him with very little respect.
