Molly Ross
Formal presentation on the forthcoming
change at Bingham’s Bakehouse Ltd and
suggested recommendations.
This presentation will cover:
The need to managing upcoming change within
the business to ensure business success
Factors and stakeholders that will influence this
change
Recommended actions to be taken to manage the
necessary change.
In this presentation I will be analysing the effect of approaching change and the need
for it to be managed correctly. I will then make realistic recommendations on the
actions Bingham’s Bakehouse should take in order to manage this change
successfully. This change is internal to the business and follows on from my previous
recommendations that you change your management style, enclosed in the report.
However, there are also external changes that Bingham’s Bakehouse Ltd is facing,
such as increased competition. Therefore, I will be analysing all the changes that will
directly effect your business and make achievable recommendations regarding these
changes.

Why change?
Remaining stationary
Effect of previous change
If change is not managed effectively it will not happen and the business will remain
as it has always been. Being unable to change is a dangerous situation for a business
because it needs to be able to change to both internal and external changes in order
to survive. If the business dose not adapt to changes then it will become stationary
and eventually be left behind. It was Richard Branson that said, ‘A company that
stands still will soon be forgotten.’ This demonstrates how essential it is that
Bingham’s Bakehouse adapts to the forthcoming changes effectively.
Previously, in 2014, Bingham’s Bakehouse was unable to manage the change in
management effectively. This has lead to a large volume of issues for the company
presently. When your father died in 2014, you didn’t have the knowledge,
experience and understanding to manage this change effectively which is why it has
lead to the majority of issues you are facing today. Therefore, it is important that you
use that experience to your advantage to effectively manage change this time
around.
