Summary Mao China
Mao's rise to power and the circumstances in which this event took place. the failure of imperial China and the western pressures and influences which led to a period of political and social instability which eventually led to the outbreak of the Chinese civil war. After fighting the Nationalists, the CCP gained full power of China in 1949, creating the people's republic of China with Mao as their leader.
