The Implications of Socialization on Individuals’ Being At times, friends are the ones who try to make us do things, which we would avoid doing under normal circumstances. But friends also help us and encourage us to try out new things and help us in the process of self-exploration. It’s all part of fickle friendships that most people tend to lose weight in their mid twenties.

Title: The Implications of Socialization on Individuals’ Being
Introduction
Do you ever wonder what shaped you into the person that you are today? It is not an accident;
it is a result of the ways that we are socialized. Socialization is about learning from our close
surroundings, friends, and out scope with the objective of being accepted within the society. So
let’s begin explaining how these things shape us.
Family: The First Influencers
Our family is our primary group, which plays a major role in teaching us concepts of being.
Right from the start, they always act as role models to us which show why some patterns are
acceptable while others are not. So for example if the family as a unit placed a premium on
education, school for you was probably a big deal. Or if having meals as a family was valued,
you will always put time for your family.
Family influences also extend to how we go about other things in life. In the case where a
family was always in your corner, you are more likely to be self-assured. But in the case where
there was so much watching emotions, stress straddles, etc, it’s likely that you will do things
differently. These are important lessons learned within the family context early on in life and
therefore are hard to erase.
Friends: The Growing Influence
As we age, the need for friends begins to increase. Especially at school, friends can influence
our preferences, outfits or even self perception. For example, if your friends are into skiing,
then most probably you start liking skiing too.
At times, friends are the ones who try to make us do things, which we would avoid doing under
normal circumstances. But friends also help us and encourage us to try out new things and help
us in the process of self-exploration. It’s all part of fickle friendships that most people tend to
lose weight in their mid twenties.
