What it means to be Human.
On watching the film, it is evident that being a big part of what it means to be human is
having a brain that is the powerhouse of thoughts and decision-making which makes a distinction
between us and other animals. The brain is a necessary tool for the ideal functioning of a human
being. It should be in a position to process information that it receives I order to relay back
another set of information which has been derived from inner emotions. The film discusses the
brain as a crucial component because it is through it that a person can express inner emotions.
For this reason, if the brain is the center of what it means to be human, then it makes sense why
the learning process is critical. The human brain is a powerhouse that is able to collect a wide
range of information from the surrounding and process this information to create an
understanding in order to produce human actions.
For me, this makes me view being human from a whole different perspective. For
instance, if asked before what it meant to be human, I would probably have stated that it means
being able to be aware of your surroundings and having senses that prompt actions. But coming
to think of it, this is the definition of existence. Even wild animals possess these attributes, and
they cannot be termed as human. From the film, therefore, it is grate to understand what it
actually means to be human. It is essential to note, however, that the brain grows depending on
