QUESTIONNAIRE SCENARIO
This psychological questionnaire is designed to assess how individuals deal with life
challenges, form relationships, and search for personal meaning. The questionnaire
can be used in therapeutic, academic, and counselling settings to support personal
growth and emotional well-being.
The questionnaire is based on three personality theories: Alfred Adler’s Individual
Psychology, Karen Horney’s Socially-Oriented Psychoanalytic Theory, and Viktor
Frankl’s Existential Theory. These theories were chosen because they each offer
unique insights into how people cope with inferiority (Adler), manage interpersonal
relationships (Horney), and find meaning in life (Frankl).
Items 1 to 5 are based on Adler’s theory and focus on striving for success,
overcoming inferiority, and lifestyle goals. Items 6 to 10 are based on Horney’s
theory and assess interpersonal strategies such as moving toward, against, or away
from people. Items 11 to 15 are based on Frankl’s theory and focus on self-
transcendence, meaning, and responsibility. The purpose is to identify coping styles
and strengths that guide individuals in life.
