The Apartheid South African government employed education as both a
racializing ideological instrument and institutional system for enforcing racial
segregation throughout the time period from 1948 to 1994. Through its Bantu
Education system the authorities worked to provide black South Africans with
deficient educational opportunities while establishing feelings of inferiority

curricula through understanding white domination goals and simultaneously
reduced black resistance and prevented them from having influential
