Prior to going underway, a navigator must route up
a Movement Report (MOVREP) twenty-four to forty-
eight hours prior to departure. This MOVREP tells
where the ship is going, speeds, waypoints, times,
and stops. Embedded in the MOVREP is a Plan of
Intended Movement (PIM) that describes where
your ship intends to be based on SOA and ETA.
MOVREP: Upon arrival in port, or when +/- 4 hours
outside of Plan of Intended Movement, or Fail to
Sail.
Included in a MOVREP is the WEAX and OTSR
•WEAX (Weather Forecast)
