USING APPROPRIATE DESIGN TOOLS, DESIGN AN
INTERACTIVE WEBSITE TO MEET A CLIENT NEED (P4).
Purpose of the site.
The purpose of creating this website is that Al Rafiq company to be able to
advertise their business with catalogue the customers can look through. The
website will be commercial since will advertise different products of AL Rafiq
company by including information of about the products so that clients can be
able to know which product are available at what price.
Targeted audience of this site are those who need to buy products at AL Rafiq
company, with these websites they will be able to see fancy dresses which are
available at alrafiq company and at what price.
The following are the requirements and purpose of the site.
1. Nature of interactivity. The website should be dynamic since the user will
need to make changes on the site, like changing the prices or adding new
products to the websites. Also, the clients will need links so that they can
easily navigate from page to page.
2. Clients needs. In order website to meet clients needs. I have to make it
easier for them to access the certain parts of the websites, for example by
making easier for them to access certain parts like adding of pictures, titles
and description of the products, so that they can be able to advertise their
products on the site. Clients need could include the following;
Images. I will include images that they are trying to portray to their
customers next to written content relates to that content. For
example, when I’m talking about women fancy dresses, I will include
pictures next to the content showing different women fancy dresses.
Level of security. Website must have high level of security, there
must be security logins, in password area, validation should be long
, password for the site which includes different characters and
symbols for security reasons and make it secure and hard to crack.
Cost. The website will not cost any nothing for my clients or end-
users since they will not pay to view pages of the sites, also it for
advertisement, in order to get more viewers, the website must be
free.
Support. There must be supports provision to the site after delivery
since clients will need to make some changes like adding new
pictures, improvements, more contents and others modification.
3. End users needs. End users needs could include the following;
Appropriateness graphics. I will be using appropriate graphics like
pictures or videos related to the content, for example like kids fancy
dressing and I will not be using inappropriate graphics as it will not be
purpose of the site which is advertising of products.
Complexity of website. I will reduce complexity of the site by adding
tabs that link different pages of the site, this will help easily
navigation to the right content which end user need it. This will suit
the needs of my clients.
Delivery of content. All the content which I added in the website will
be accessed to my clients and will be clear and simple to read.
