What are some ace inhibitors and things to know? - ANSCaptopril, lisonopril

treats htn and heart failure
rxns: assess for angioedema swelling of tounge or glottis
Bp low? ok if asymptomatic, do response if symptomatic. Orthostatic htn! First dose at
bedtime.
What is a angiotensin II blocker and things to know? - ANSLosartan
blocks angiotensin II.
watch bun, creatinine, orthostatic hyoptension.
What does digoxin do? Things to know? - ANScontrols bp and heart problems by slowing
heart rate
watch for av block.
*assess pulse, under 60 bpm or over 120 hold and call doctor* assess potassium
antidote is digibind.
What does nitroglycerin do? things to know? - ANShelps with angina pectoris and CHF.
