located in the eastern suburbs of Pretoria, South Africa. The school is situated in a suburban area
that blends residential, commercial, and natural spaces, providing an ideal environment for
teaching Geography. Silverton High is known for its strong academic focus and commitment to
holistic education, with well-maintained facilities, including modern classrooms, a well-equipped
library, and various outdoor spaces that support a range of academic and extracurricular activities.
The school caters to a diverse student body, offering education from Grade 8 through to Grade 12.
During my teaching practice, I was assigned to teach Geography to Grades 10 and 11, which
involved covering key components of the CAPS (Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement)
