Dear Miss Jones,
As part of the Marketing Management program at BCIT, I am volunteering in our mentorship
program in hopes of supporting prospective high school students regarding their future in post-
secondary. As university and college applications are coming up, we hope to give insights into
the benefits of choosing their education at BCIT.
Next month, we will be presenting a Zoom meeting called “Career Life Education” where we will
be helping support the students’ decisions about figuring out which program will be a right fit,
course load, student life, and extracurricular activities. As BCIT is different than other
universities, this will be a great opportunity for students to raise questions regarding the
benefits of choosing the perfect program for them. Afterwards, we will be talking about some
insights as a current BCIT student in hopes to inspire them to gain reassurance of their future.
Transitioning from high school to post-secondary is stressful and full of anxiety, we’re here to
assist the students to seamlessly transition from high school to post-secondary.
