Functie Anteflexie arm: de bovenarm naar voren bewegen.

Hulp bij adductie arm: de bovenarm naar het lichaam - toe bewegen in zijwaartse richting.

Hulp bij endorotatie: de bovenarm naar binnen draaien in het schoudergewicht.

Origo Processi coracoideus scapulae.

Insertie Margo medialis van de schacht van de humerus.



M. Deltoideus
Functie Voorste vezels: - Anteflexie arm: de arm naar voren bewegen. - Endorotatie: de arm naar
binnen draaien in het schoudergewicht. - Abductie arm: de arm van het lichaam af bewegen in
zijwaartse richting. Achterste vezels: - Retroflexie arm: de arm naar achteren bewegen. - Exorotatie:
de arm naar buiten draaien in het schoudergewicht. - Abductie arm: de arm van het lichaam af
bewegen in zijwaartse richting Alle vezels: - Abductie tot 90°: de arm tot 90° van het lichaam af
bewegen in zijwaartse richting.

Origo Pars clavicularis: Extremitas acromialis van de clavicula. Pars acrominalis: Het acromion. Pars
spinata: De spina scapulae.

Insertie Tuberositas deltoidea humeri.



M. Infraspinatus
Functie - Exorotatie: de arm naar buiten draaien in het schoudergewricht. - Hulp bij retroflexie arm:
de arm naar achteren bewegen. - Adductie arm met onderste vezels: de arm naar het lichaam toe
bewegen in zijwaartse richting. - Rotator cuff spier, kapselspanner.

Origo Fossa en fascia infraspinata.

Insertie Middelste facet van het tuberculum majus van de humerus.



M. Latissimus dorsi
Functie - Retroflexie arm: de arm naar achteren bewegen. - Adductie arm: de arm naar het lichaam
toe bewegen in zijwaartse richting. - Endorotatie: de arm naar binnen draaien in het
schoudergewricht. - Detractie scapula: de schouderblad naar beneden trekken. - Nevenfunctie: hulp
bij een krachtige uitademing (hoest).

Origo Crista iliaca, fascia thoracolumbalis, 10e-12e rib en de processus spinosi Th7 - Th12 en L1 - L5.

Insertie Crista tuberculi minoris van de humerus.
