1) Albumin : 3.5 – 5 g/dl
2) Globulins: 2.5-3.5 g/dl and
3) Fibrinogen: 0.2 - 0 .4 g/dl
, Synthesis of Plasma Proteins
▪ All the albumin and fibrinogen are synthesized by the
liver onl
▪ Similarly 50 to 80% of the globulin is formed in the liver
▪ The remainder of the globulins are formed almost
entirely in the lymphoid tissues.
▪ The A/G ratio can be altered in the liver disease.
