BiCitra (sodium citrate) - Answer - Used for too much acid in baby's blood because kidneys are losing too much bicarbonate (common in premature babies). Very safe, similar to wrong stuff in the first place being excreted. N/V, stomach pain, mild/occasional diarrhea.
