circulation. the blood vessels present in our body are arteries, veins and capillaries, batteries
or the vessels that help thick and elastic walls to resist pressure exerted by the heart.. The
human Excretory system consists of a pair of kidneys to ureters and urinary bladder and
urethra. Nephrons are the functional units of kidneys, which actually filters the blood.. The
transport of food and other substances take place in the sieve tubes with the help of
adjacent companion cells, both in upward and downward directions..
