The admitting diagnosis was initially altered mental status with AOX1 when admitted to the ED. Upon patient report of 10/10 pain localized in the suprapubic, pelvic, and lower back area, a urinalysis and a blood culture determined an additional diagnosis of UTI and bacteremia.
