, My production of Hedda Gabler will
feature a contemporary, minimalistic
and naturalistic set as I believe a
modern day audience will be able to
relate more to the play and by
removing the majority of Ibsen’s set,
it allows the actors to further
execute their intimate relationship
within the play. This will be further
demonstrated by having having the
actors and the audience on the same
Colour symbolism (red)
level. I’d have a proscenium arch with
-piano
white tabs on either side to give the
-Hedda
impression that Hedda is looking out
-gun
of her french windows.
