• Keep typography simple
• Stay consistent
• Use both upper and lower case
• Keep lines short
• Use serifs
Some common mistakes with type design?
• Lines that have more than 50 characters long
• Insufficient leading and tracking
• Long sections of body copy in all caps
• Highlight colors used without clear purpose
• Drop caps poorly related to their corresponding word
