How did the project go?
Introduction
P8 Explain how project management skills were used in the management of an
IT project.
In the IT project management that my other group members and I were working on, we
spent a month completing it, we decided to split the project tasks among each of us so
that we could do collaborative work and we can solve the appropriate task for each of
us that will help the project to be completed quickly and efficiently. The task
management skills that have assigned to me were smart targets where I explained our
MED project aims, and I also said that our team members are always in service to help
the patients.
I talked about the constraints, I gave split the tasks for the members so that they can
view which tasks still need to be completed and which ones they need to do. I decided
to present this on a table which is the project timeline, and did the project plan and
communication plan because I think I am good at planning so this task can be the most
appropriate for me, I explained the project's natural and political, also explained the key
stakeholders. I and a project member assessed two adequate researched solutions to an
IT problem on a given theme and recommend a preferred solution.
This project gave me the opportunity to do logical thinking, investigate the source of the
problem, break down the problem into manageable chunks, and identify one or more
solutions to a problem. The other members did other tasks such as document plans,
budgets, assumptions, risk management, project strategy, representation of the project
management team structure as an organization chart, evaluating two solutions to an IT
problem on a given theme, and justifying using logical chains of reasoning is a preferred
solution.
We spent a lot of effort and time for the project to be successful and completed by
audience satisfaction, we also got feedback that helped us to improve our project to
lead to the goals of our expectations. One of the group members created an application
and website for the MED drone so that clients can purchase the product from the
application and contact us, we left our contact details on the website, and also there is a
way to chat with us online. The website contains more information about the company
and the products. I believe that we used our skills effectively to create this project as we
followed all the steps and used the requirements to work on this project.
