Assessment Scenario
You are been recruited as a Network Engineer for XYZ Education
(Pvt) Ltd. The organization is newly formed and requires your
expertise to create the network with the information provided
below:
There are Three (03) departments in the Head Office (HO) and those are: 1)
Human Resource; 2) Engineering; 3) Labour;
Indicated number of individuals are working as mentioned: 1) Human
Resource – Three (03); 2) Engineering – Five (05); 3) Labour – Five (05);
All the departments need to be separated through a separate switch;
Use the last usable IP address as the default gateway;
Servers are recommended to be proposed;
All the users are connected to the Internet.
There are two (02) branches that are connected;
The branches are having a flat network (VLAN 01);
If using a Routing Protocol EIGRP is to be used;
HSRP is the fault tolerance protocol to be used
DHCP to be used for the LAN users and for the servers a static IP address
range to be used
The detailed report should include evaluation and critically reviewed
technical notes on all of the expected topics.

discussed in detail;
Discuss the need of different server types used in the network;
IP Addressing table with scalability;
Design an appropriate network diagram as per the scenario;
Logical Network Diagram/s needs to be indicated;
If Spanning tree protocol is been used explain the need of it
