Summary
The Licoln International Airport got hit by a violent snowstorm. Runway three
zero is blocked by an Aéreo-Mexican plane. The TWA maintenance chief Joe
Patroni is trying to remove the plane with his team. Because runway three zero
is still blocked, planes are taking off over Meadowood. The inhabitants from
Meadowood are complaining about the noise.
The Airport General Manager, Mel Bakersfeld, is in a divorce with his wife and
tries to spend all of his time at work. He and the inhabitants are trying to fix the
problem. Mel’s brother Keith works in The Aircraft Controller. Keith is going to
kill himself and nobody knows it. Keith blames himself for an accident that
happened years ago and has been suicidal after the accident.
Vernon Demerest is a pilot and also Keith and Mel’s brother-in-law. Vernon is
going to fly the Golden Argosy tonight. He and Mel aren’t talking to each other
after a battle that Mel won in front of a lot of people. Vernon cheats on his wife
with flight attendants. A flight attendant Gwen is pregnant of Vernon and is
going to fly with him. Vernon isn’t very happy about that.
D.O. Guerrero is going to blow himself and the Golden Argosy up. Guerrero has
a disability and lost his job. His wife works in a coffee shop. Because of that
they don’t earn a lot of money. He made a bomb at home, that he is going to
hide in a little bag with him. Guerrero’s wife is going to get a lot of money after
his dead, because he is going to pay travel insurance at the airport. After he
steps on the plane, the Inspector feels there’s something wrong with him. The
Inspector goes to Mel and Mel immediately tells Vernon about it.
Ada Quonsett, also a passenger in the Golden Argosy, sits nexts to D.O.
Guerrero. The flight attendant Gwen’s plan is to grab Guerrero’s bag. Gwen
tells Ada to help her with the plan or else she will be in a lot of trouble. The
plan failed and Guerrero pulls the string of the bomb. He died and Gwen is
badly injured.
